Oh my heart! She’s here, little Nora Vanderveen. There’s a good bit of unpredictability with newborn sessions, but with a bit of planning and plenty of time, the experience can be smooth and delightfully rewarding. I find such joy in the privilege of being a visitor so early in a child’s life, especially when many haven’t even met her yet! Definitely soaked up the cuddles while I could!
With heaps of snow still on the ground, an in-home session sounded much more appealing for the Stewart family, celebrating a sweet 6 months for little Eloise! As you know, I always love outdoor shoots, but an indoor family session like this one was a fun treat. It gives us so many candid photos that parents know are some of the most precious!
Something fairly new for me… an indoor session! I got to spend time with these beautiful little dancers in their own home in Richmond. Their soft gold dresses and neutral coloured walls were a dream for me to shoot!
Sometimes I get a little carried away…but when a family is THIS adorable and the baby is THIS happy and the weather is THIS nice, I just can’t help it! Our mini session ran a little long, but it was delightful to spend time with our friends, the Alexanders.Read More
Another successful workshop is wrapped up! We were so thrilled that the Jason, Heather and their family agreed to be our models. They were so patient and easy going. Heather even had scrumptious homemade cookies for us when were done…spoiled!! We all had a great time. Scroll to the end to see some of Emily and Leanne’s great work!
One of my favourite parts of this job is that I naturally get to make new friends All. The. Time. I love that!! Jaco, Amber, and their handsome little fella were super easy going and ready to enjoy the lovely evening. I was delighted to get to know them, and especially get so many smiles from Rowan!!! I can’t believe he did so well even after bedtime!
