Visscher Family

I could never forget the first time I photographed this family. Chase was just born (so tall now!), it was late fall and cold, the sun set so much earlier than I realized, and we were in a dark forest. I had no idea what having a new baby was like, let alone getting the two kids (at the time) all ready for photos. I had no idea what to do about the lack of light. I’m sure I was panicking a bit!

But I don’t remember Irene ever flinching.

There are some tough and patient mama’s out there and to all those that have stuck with me, Thank you!!! Even better, your families will thank you when they have these images to treasure down the road.

It makes me laugh to think of how far we’ve all come! But enough rambling, start scrolling. ๐Ÿ˜‰

We had some rain – you can even see it if you look closely! Thankfully it didn’t last long and the sun was still out anyway. I kind of love what it subtly adds to a photo!

Chase was so curious about my camera and loved scouting for good locations. He also enjoyed posing for portraits… he may look like a mini of his dad, but it seems to me he’s his own person! Haha ๐Ÿ˜€

This is probably my favourite spot at the Mill. Perfect to finish with! I had so much fun with these guys. Thank you so much, Visscher Family!!
