I know I say it all the time, but I LOVE watching kids grow up as families come back to me!
Eloise was about a year old I think when I last photographed her. The change from baby to little girl is always incredible!!! I’m so glad we found the last few flowers for her to hold and sit beside.
Anderson is changing quickly too! He’s adjusting to online school, as so many of your children are. All the more reason to get outside for a long walk, even if it is technically for photos 😉
It’s so important to me that Mom and Dad get a few of their own photos, like below! Love it when they get a few minutes to hold hands. More than ever, I understand how precious that is, as we fly around in a whirlwind with our own kids!
It’s not easy doing family photos with kids so young, but I absolutely love the candid moments that come out of it. Older children will sit longer and listen better sometimes and there certainly is benefit to that! But never wish away this season. The little squeezes, playful moments with parents, delighted grins… that’s the magic you get when they’re little.
Stewart family, it was so great to see you all again!! Thanks for roughing it with me at RiverOak and being game to explore! 🙂
